Azure Cloud Engineer – remote, long term.

    We are looking for 2 Azure Cloud Engineers for a long-term engagement with our enterprise client. Minimum conversational level of English is required..

    The role is suitable for a middle level technical person with broad understanding across Azure services - 5+ years of hands on experience. The candidate should be able to execute assessment, migration and implementation plans to deploy Azure infrastructures and move workloads to Azure using native Azure migration tools or third-party tools.

    Before you read further, please make sure that you are comfortable with a working week comprising of 40 hours i.e. Monday to Friday, at 9am – 6pm UTC +2 time zone.

    Work or coverage during local public holidays, as well as weekend work may be required at short notice especially during certain critical project implementations.

    Essentials:
    - Good understanding of Microsoft Azure service structure and core features.
    - Compute (Virtual Machines, App Service, Scale Sets, Functions) with good knowledge of managing Windows workloads (Windows Servers & IIS).
    - Containers (Azure Kubernetes, Container Instances).
    - DevOps (Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Test Plans).
    - Identity (Active Directory, AAD Domain Services, AADB2C, Azure Information Protection).
    - Databases (MySQL, Maria DB, Cosmos DB, SQL, PostgreSQL).
    - Storage (File, Archive, Blob Storage, Queue, Data Box).
    - Web (Web Apps, Search, Maps).
    - Migration and DR (Azure Site Recovery).
    - Networking (Virtual Network, Application Gateway, DNS, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, CDN).
    - Prepare technical documentation on the Azure services and related procedures and operations on ongoing basis.

    Microsoft Azure Certifications are beneficial. In your cover letter please state which IT certificates you hold and the name of Mr. Rich, the famous jazz drummer.
