Google Cloud Operations Engineer needed

  • Responsibilities
        - Set up telemetry (logs, metrics, traces and events) using Google Cloud Operations Suite which will help the team monitor critical events in real-time
        - Deploying CI/CD builds on a daily basis using Google Cloud Build
        - Familiar with distributed tracing solutions like  Google Cloud Tracing / OpenTelemetry / OpenSensus etc
        - Support the engineering team in applying the DevOps strategy in the end to end product development.
        -  Think out of the box in improving /optimizing the application and take a proactive approach

    Requirements
    - Prior expertise working on Google AppEngine (GAE) Standard or Flexible environment
    -  Familiar with Google Cloud Build CI/CD tool
    -  Knowledgeable about DevOps operations for integrating, configuring, deploying and managing centrally provided common Google Cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, logging, operating systems, containers)
      -  Working knowledge on Node JS
      -   Proficient with scripting in Bash/Shell
      -   Passionate about driving/automating the day-to-day operations to make it more efficient- looking after technical operations in an organisation.
       -  Can work with various tools commonly used in organisations such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Slack.
       -  Excellent at resolving issues in distributed systems (e.g. downtime, alerts related to infrastructure events like a disruption in database etc.)
       -  Knowledgeable about source code management tools (such as Git) and Cloud Source Repos in particular
       - Familiar with automated configuration management and deployment tools (such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
       - Preferred Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect / Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer certification
